1. Masala Chai - The Traditional Way

Follow these simple steps for an authentic masala chai experience

A traditional brewing method that brings out the rich, aromatic flavors of our heritage spice blend.

Total time: 5-8 minutes

1. Bring Water to Boil

Bring 1 cup(200ml) of water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.

2. Add the Tea

Add 2 tablespoons(13 g) of Amma Story Signature Masala Chai into saucepan. Give it a gentle stir. Adjust to taste for a stronger or milder brew.

3. Simmer

Reduce to medium-low heat and let it simmer for 30 sec to 1 minute. Please do not overboil as it may bring slight bitter taste from German Chamomile.

4. Add Milk

Pour in a quarter cup(75ml) of full cream milk. You can add plant based milk as well.

5. Simmer Again

Continue simmering for another full boil. Add sugar at this stage if needed.

6. STRAIN AND SERVE

Strain into your favourite cup. Enjoy the strong, creamy, and aromatic masala chai while it's hot.
