How It Began
A taste of home, wherever life takes you.
"Amma" means mother in Tamil—a reminder of the warmth and comfort that make a house feel like home.
Living far from our families, we came to realise it wasn't just homemade chai we missed. It was the feeling that came with it—the comfort, the conversations, and the quiet moments shared together.
That is why we created Amma Story. Our Signature Masala Chai is crafted to bring a little taste of home into everyday life, wherever life may take you.
More than a logo, it's a story that's been part of our family for generations.
Our Logo Concept
Inspired by a traditional wooden artwork brought home from India nearly 50 years ago.
Displayed at the entrance of our family home ever since, it has welcomed generations of family, friends, and guests with warmth and hospitality.
The Heart of Home
The lady represents Amma — the heart of the home, whose warmth, care, and love bring family and friends together.
Respect & Gratitude
The folded hands represent Namaskaram, a traditional Tamil greeting that expresses respect, gratitude, and recognition of the goodness in others.
Beauty & Prosperity
The peacock-inspired earrings and three bangles symbolize beauty, prosperity, good fortune, and harmony.
Every story has a beginning. Our Signature Masala Chai is the first chapter.
